TB Greenhorn – Age 27, Anchor Point, Alaska
With his previous season cut short due to a hand-crushing injury, Phillip returned last year wanting to show everyone that he was just sidelined by an unfortunate circumstance, and he has what it takes to carry on the family legacy. While the young greenhorn claimed that, if he got injured again, it would be the end of his crabbing career, his return season started out just as he hoped – uneventful. But during opies, a pot door slammed into his head, breaking skin. Fortunately, the injury was minor, but it served as a sharp reminder to Phillip to exercise caution on deck as he continues his apprenticeship in the family trade.
