The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF)
is leading a conservation initiative that has
protected or enhanced habitat on more than 6.2
million acres—an area larger than Yellowstone,
Great Smoky Mountains, Grand Canyon, Glacier,
Yosemite and Rocky Mountain National Parks
combined. RMEF has also torn down “No
Trespassing” signs on nearly 650,000 acres of elk
country, now open for the public to enjoy, and
is a strong voice for hunters in access, wildlife
management and conservation policy.
RMEF Team Elk is back and bigger than ever in
2013
with all things elk, elk country and elk hunting.
In Season Three of Team Elk we’ll show you that
elk camp isn’t just for the guys, by featuring three
women of the outdoors; we follow a young hunter
as his first elk hunt ends in a GIANT way; we learn
that even though bulls are bugling and the rut is
crazy, elk hunting is still a challenge; and we see
how a long, hard hunt can be very rewarding in
the end. Team Elk will hunt land RMEF helped
protect, feature stunning scenery and big bulls,
and show you why Hunting is Conservation! Tune
in Saturdays at 6p ET/3p PT.
