You gotta love chili, and this elk chili recipe delivers. It's delicious and welcomed on a cold, winter day.

Ingredients:

• 1-1/2 lb ground elk meat
• 2 yellow onions, chopped
• 1 cup green pepper, chopped
• 2 cups tomato sauce
• 2 cups tomatoes, diced
• 2 cup kidney beans, drained
• 1/2 cup green chilies, diced
• 2 to 3 TBS chili powder
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1 tsp ground cumin
• 1/2 tsp oregano
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
• 1/4 to 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
