Burning Rock Off Road Adventure Park
From Fisher's ATV World
There is no doubt that West Virginia has some of the best trail riding on the East Coast and that’s why we spend a lot of time riding there. If you’re looking for some new places to explore, you’ll want to check out Burning Rock Off Road Adventure Park in Sophia, West Virginia which is just south of Beckley, West Virginia.
This premier off road adventure park is open to ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes and offers more than 100 miles of well groomed trails for beginner to expert riders. Burning Rock has a full fleet of ATVs and UTVs available to rent year round so if you don’t have one, no worries, you can rent one while you’re there. They offer great accommodations with rustic rental cabins, pull through RV sites with full hookups and camping with clean bath houses for a hot shower.
Burning Rock offers customized vacation packages so you can ride the trails (on your own or guided tours) and then experience Ziplining, Rock Climbing, Rappelling, White Water Rafting or take in some local history at the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine or learn more about the Hatfield & McCoy Feud.
Brian and the Fish Staff stopped by Burning Rock and rode these trails a few years ago and here is what Brian had to say, “Riding at Burning Rock was a great time. The “Amazon Trail” was the best. It was like being back in Costa Rica. Can’t wait to go back!”
