Quality Whitetails features one of the most innovative formats ever in outdoor television. It is a unique blend of deer biology, deer management and deer hunting brought to you by the most respected whitetail conservation organization in North America, the nonprofit Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA). The show will feature many of the nation's leading whitetail experts including host Neil Dougherty, wildlife habitat consultant from New York, and co-hosts Dr. Karl Miller, professor of Wildlife Management at the University of Georgia, and Brian Murphy, Joe Hamilton and Kip Adams, all noted wildlife biologists with the QDMA. (note: see below for their titles)
Show topics will range from common food plot mistakes, to what hunters can plant on their hunting lands to improve deer quality and the economics of food plotting. These informative segments will be illustrated with exciting hunts from across the country. Regular show segments include "Whitetails in Focus", "Whitetail Wisdom" and the new "A Taste of Quality with Renee Miller." Whitetails in Focus will provide tips on how game cameras can be used to gain valuable knowledge for both deer hunting and management. Topics covered range from how to age and score bucks in photographs to how to conduct a deer survey. The Whitetail Wisdom segment features Joe Hamilton providing useful tips on deer hunting and management based on his 40 years of research, management and hunting experience. A Taste of Quality will feature Renee Miller preparing a variety of venison recipes that all will enjoy.
