About Trev Gowdy:

He is the new generation of the American sportsman and one of America's signature outdoor television producers and fisherman. He is Trev Gowdy. Born into fishing at the age of 5, Trev Gowdy is the son of the American sportsman himself, Curt Gowdy, also known as one of the greatest sportscasters of all time. Trev Gowdy learned at a young age what the outdoors was all about, through the daily teachings of his father and then the years of hard work for ABC Televison's American Sportsman show, working his way up for over 2 decades from a production assistant to now being one of this country's most notable hosts and producers of quality outdoor programming. He has developed a new series for Outdoor Channel, a series that films expeditions worldwide for the largest fish by species in the world.

It is one of his most challenging assignments to produce a program of this caliber, but this is what he truly thrives on, being able to bring what he calls "impact television" within a shorter format length to hold and keep the viewer on the edge of his seat.

About Dennis Braid:

A native Australian, Dennis Braid is considered one of the pioneers of stand-up, big game fishing. His success on big yellowfin to over 300 pounds on the West Coast and giant bluefin to well over 500 pounds on the East Coast are second to none. His southern California-based tackle company, Braid Products, has been at the forefront of rod belt/harness development since the early ‘80s. In between running Braid Products, Dennis is constantly field testing and developing new products, be it from the deck of San Diego long range boats or while on trips to spots like Panama, Vanuatu and his Australia homeland.
