Kevin Gross
Kevin was born and raised in the Southern California town of Downey. He inherited his passion for the outdoors from his father George and his uncle Al Caples. His early memories are of hunting pheasants close to home, as well as waterfowl and small game. Upon graduating from high school he attended college on a baseball scholarship, and his college career caught the eyes of Major League scouts. After only two years of college, Kevin was drafted and went on to become one of the top pitchers in Major League Baseball. He was a member of the 1988 All-Star Game, and on August 17, 1992, while a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers, pitched a no-hitter against the San Francisco Giants. His wicked curve ball is still talked about today. Kevin and his wife Tamara have fours sons, Joshua, Cheyne, Chad and Chase. His hunting has taken him around the globe. He has successfully hunted in most western states, South Africa, Mexico, Canada and Argentina. His favorite hunting is for big-game, waterfowl and Turkeys.
